it seems a bit quiet in here, but I saw this community and just thought I'd introduce myself, as this is my fitness log. :) my name is katie, I'm 25 years old, and I started making a conscious effort to take better care of myself about a year ago after I quit smoking cigarettes about 2 years ago. my goals are mainly to exercise regularly, drink enough water, and eat 5+ servings of fruits and veggies daily. with journaling I do keep track of what I eat, although I'm not a calorie counter, and I don't own a scale or restrict myself in any way. I just want to be stronger and feel better through *trying* to meet those goals every day. so I'd like to meet like-minded livejournal friends who have health- or fitness-related journals, to share the usual support and encouragement. feel free to add me to your friends list. :) good luck!
